Our representatives = Ourselves + monkey

" On Wednesday morning, the debate turned into a ruckus when the Parliament House roof sprang leaks in several parts during a downpour.

In the heat of the debate and shouts over the "leaky" Parliament House, which had undergone an RM80 million renovation about two years ago, one phrase went unnoticed.

Fong Po Kuan (DAP-Batu Gajah) then reviewed the video recording of the proceedings and felt humiliated. She then filed a motion this morning to refer the two BN MPs (one for making the sexist remarks and the other for supporting the remarks) - Datuk Bung Mokhtar Radin (BN-Kinabatangan) and Datuk Mohd Said Yusof (BN-Jasin) - to the committee.

The recording exposed Bung as saying: "Mana bocor, Batu Gajah pun tiap-tiap bulan pun bocor juga." ("Where is the leak? Batu Gajah MP also leaks every month.") "

This pretty much sums it all as how the representatives behaves in the Parliament House and abuse the privillages given to them in the Parliament. Such ridiculous statements was voice out instead in the meeting that mean so much for the country instead of more important stuffs. And how uneducated issit for a person voted and called Yang Berhormat or Tuan by some but acting like Yang Bodoh.

Imagine the case I have been following where the old Parliament house about two years ago which needed a facelift as well as some patches to rectify a few old and wear offs compartment needed a monstrous amount of money up to RM80 million which is claimed by the authorities in charge. Note that it can sum up more than that as you know how the system goes.

Heck, even to get a government tender project, you have to own a company with a portion of it belongs to the bumi's and for some reason you also have to get "along" with the one issueing the tender.

Bare in mind that the RM80 million is our tax payers money that is used to give them the first class Parliament House discussing about woman's monthly leakage.

To the eyes of others, maybe the RM80 million beautification of the House sounds like the country is rich and prosper like a wealthy oil nation but in fact I can't personally see how significantly different is the Malaysia 2 years ago compared to now present in 2007.

We still are not getting the respond and action promised by the PM which he propagates during the last erection oops..i mean election that if he gets the mandates he will make the country more Malaysian as rakyat and not more racial segregation. Now all I see is more corruptions and more fracas in the country with less development, maybe there is some development to the bumi's after various weird policies that is supported by the government.

Yeah, keep voting blindly and you have yourselves to be blamed. Look around you and the television, how often is the poor being focused instead of using the money to launch several Malaysian to space to play marbles, spinning top and teh tarik.

But anyway, in Bolehland, we Boleh.
